White Dwarf 356 – August 2009 is the August 2009 issue of White Dwarf, Games Workshop's hobby magazine, which has been running since 1977. Its cover feature is Tank Shock! White Dwarf is where Warhammer fans have long turned for hobby news and battle reports, and old issues like this one are a lovely slice of hobby history.
Gobgob's favourite bit: The Tank Shock! cover feature. In Warhammer 40,000, a tank shock is when a tank simply drives at the enemy and dares them to stay put. Gobgob would move.

Borrowing by post
Members anywhere in New Zealand can borrow by post. Postal swaps go out every Thursday. The cutoff is Wednesday 10pm for Thursday delivery.
Postage out is charged at our normal website shipping rates, and you pay to post games back to us.
Missing pieces and damage
Check the box when you borrow it. If a piece is missing, tell us at the counter so it isn't charged to you.
Pieces that go missing or get damaged while a game is with you can be charged up to the game's RRP, unless our staff waive it. Normal wear and tear is fine. The full details are in the library terms.
