Borrow from 500+ board games
Kia ora! The Dice Goblin library lets you take games home, keep them as long as you like and swap whenever you want, in the Lair or by post anywhere in New Zealand.
Pick a plan
- Grab: 1 game at home at a time, $30 a month
- Stash: 3 games at home at a time, $60 a month
- Hoard: 5 games at home at a time, $75 a month
Every plan includes the whole library, unlimited swaps, swaps by post and three-day holds.
How it works
- Join online. Pick a plan and check out. Your membership renews monthly from the day you join.
- Borrow a game. Find it on the library shelves in the Lair and check it out with its barcode, or ask us to post it.
- Play as long as you like. There are no due dates while you're a member.
- Swap whenever. Bring it back and take the next one. Postal swaps go out every Thursday. The cutoff is Wednesday 10pm for Thursday delivery.
Good to know
- Ask us to hold a game and we'll keep it for you until midnight on the third day, counting the day you ask.
- Postage out is charged at our normal website shipping rates, and you pay to post games back.
- A few rare games stay in the Lair, to play at a table.
- Tell us at the counter if a piece is missing when you borrow a game, so it isn't charged to you. Missing pieces or damage can be charged up to the game's RRP, unless staff waive it.
- Cancel any time before your next billing date.
