Warhammer 40,000 Rulebook (8th Edition) is the core rulebook for the 8th edition of Warhammer 40,000, Games Workshop's tabletop miniatures wargame (2017). It has the core rules and Games Workshop's three ways to play, from open play to matched play for competitive games. A big chunk of the book is lore and art from the 41st Millennium, great for anyone building an army or planning a narrative campaign.
Gobgob's favourite bit: The Great Rift has torn the galaxy in two, and Roboute Guilliman is awake again after ten thousand years to sort it out. Gobgob has had worse Mondays, but not many.

Borrowing by post
Members anywhere in New Zealand can borrow by post. Postal swaps go out every Thursday. The cutoff is Wednesday 10pm for Thursday delivery.
Postage out is charged at our normal website shipping rates, and you pay to post games back to us.
Missing pieces and damage
Check the box when you borrow it. If a piece is missing, tell us at the counter so it isn't charged to you.
Pieces that go missing or get damaged while a game is with you can be charged up to the game's RRP, unless our staff waive it. Normal wear and tear is fine. The full details are in the library terms.
