Vantage

Vantage is an open-world co-op adventure board game from Stonemaier Games, designed by Jamey Stegmaier. Each game begins on a ship heading for an uncharted planet, and after the crash you're stranded far from your companions, free to explore however you like. Nearly 800 locations are spread across about 400 cards, with more than 900 other cards waiting to be discovered. It isn't a campaign, so every game stands alone, and all you carry over is what you've learned about the world.

Gobgob's games are well loved, so some might be missing a piece or two. Spot something missing? Tell us straight away at the counter or by message, so we can try to replace it.

About the game

Your ship just crashed. Good news: the whole planet is yours to explore.

Gobgob's favourite bit: Only you can see where you are, shown from your own point of view. Your friends can still talk to you and help, but they have to take your word for what's out there. Gobgob's waterfall gets bigger every time Gobgob describes it.

Borrowing by post

Members anywhere in New Zealand can borrow by post. Postal swaps go out every Thursday. The cutoff is Wednesday 10pm for Thursday delivery.

Postage out is charged at our normal website shipping rates, and you pay to post games back to us.

Missing pieces and damage

Check the box when you borrow it. If a piece is missing, tell us at the counter so it isn't charged to you.

Pieces that go missing or get damaged while a game is with you can be charged up to the game's RRP, unless our staff waive it. Normal wear and tear is fine. The full details are in the library terms.
