Ulterior Design
Ulterior Design is a quick home-decorating party card game from Auckland publisher Cheeky Parrot Games, designed by Andy Bell. Everyone chases the latest trend, hoping a judge from Decor Rate magazine will pick their home. The cards are split down the middle with houseplants, paintings and lamps, and each new card must overlap one already played. When a judge turns up, the house closest to the current trend wins an award, and the first to three awards wins.

About the game
Gobgob has one decorating rule: more plants.
Gobgob's favourite bit: Sabotage. Instead of decorating your own place, slip a card into a rival's house to wreck their look, then hope a judge turns up next.

Borrowing by post
Members anywhere in New Zealand can borrow by post. Postal swaps go out every Thursday. The cutoff is Wednesday 10pm for Thursday delivery.
Postage out is charged at our normal website shipping rates, and you pay to post games back to us.
Missing pieces and damage
Check the box when you borrow it. If a piece is missing, tell us at the counter so it isn't charged to you.
Pieces that go missing or get damaged while a game is with you can be charged up to the game's RRP, unless our staff waive it. Normal wear and tear is fine. The full details are in the library terms.
