Puzzle Kit: World Mechanical Puzzle Competition (5th Edition)

Puzzle Kit: World Mechanical Puzzle Competition (5th Edition) is the official kit from the 5th World Mechanical Puzzle Competition, held on 29 November 2025: seven original mechanical puzzles to solve on your own. It's made by Mechanical Puzzle Competitions, founded in Italy by Cristian Poliziani (NoWayPuzzle) and Hyde (PlayBrain). The puzzles are linked by shape and solving method, some pure logic and some needing creative thinking, and they're made for everyone from beginners to experts.

Gobgob's games are well loved, so some might be missing a piece or two. Spot something missing? Tell us straight away at the counter or by message, so we can try to replace it.

About the game

The world got two hours to solve these. You get as long as you like.

Gobgob's favourite bit: Each puzzle you solve reveals a word or number for the answer sheet. Gobgob has two so far and a very tired brain.

📦 In the box: 7 original mechanical puzzles, an answer sheet and instructions.

Borrowing by post

Members anywhere in New Zealand can borrow by post. Postal swaps go out every Thursday. The cutoff is Wednesday 10pm for Thursday delivery.

Postage out is charged at our normal website shipping rates, and you pay to post games back to us.

Missing pieces and damage

Check the box when you borrow it. If a piece is missing, tell us at the counter so it isn't charged to you.

Pieces that go missing or get damaged while a game is with you can be charged up to the game's RRP, unless our staff waive it. Normal wear and tear is fine. The full details are in the library terms.
