Pulp Cthulhu is a Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition sourcebook from Chaosium that won the Gold ENnie for Best Supplement in 2017. Subtitled Two-Fisted Action and Adventure Against the Mythos, it turns the horror tabletop RPG into 1930s pulp adventure, with heroic investigators built from archetypes and pulp talents. You'll need the Call of Cthulhu Keeper Rulebook to play, and the library has that too.
Gobgob's favourite bit: Investigators are much tougher here, with extra hit points and pulp talents, so your hero can punch a cultist instead of fainting at the first tentacle.

Borrowing by post
Members anywhere in New Zealand can borrow by post. Postal swaps go out every Thursday. The cutoff is Wednesday 10pm for Thursday delivery.
Postage out is charged at our normal website shipping rates, and you pay to post games back to us.
Missing pieces and damage
Check the box when you borrow it. If a piece is missing, tell us at the counter so it isn't charged to you.
Pieces that go missing or get damaged while a game is with you can be charged up to the game's RRP, unless our staff waive it. Normal wear and tear is fine. The full details are in the library terms.
