P.M. (Plus and Minus)

P.M. (Plus and Minus) is a vintage British card-and-board race game from around 1935, attributed to John Waddington. Each player races four men from the stars to 25, playing plus and minus cards to move them along. The box calls it a "2 to 4 player outfit", and the V&A museum in London has one in its collection. It's a genuine vintage copy, so please handle it gently.

Gobgob's games are well loved, so some might be missing a piece or two. Spot something missing? Tell us straight away at the counter or by message, so we can try to replace it.

About the game

Until A.M. you'll play P.M. That's what the box promised back in the 1930s.

Gobgob's favourite bit: The plus and minus cards. A bit of mental arithmetic decides who gets home to 25 first, and Gobgob has never loved maths more.

Missing pieces and damage

Check the box when you borrow it. If a piece is missing, tell us at the counter so it isn't charged to you.

Pieces that go missing or get damaged while a game is with you can be charged up to the game's RRP, unless our staff waive it. Normal wear and tear is fine. The full details are in the library terms.
