Magic: The Gathering Commander Decks

Magic: The Gathering Commander Decks is a stack of ready-to-play Commander decks for Magic: The Gathering, the trading card game from Wizards of the Coast. Commander is Magic's big multiplayer format: each deck is led by a legendary commander, and every player starts on 40 life. Pick a deck each, gather round the table, and play until one player is left standing.

Gobgob's games are well loved, so some might be missing a piece or two. Spot something missing? Tell us straight away at the counter or by message, so we can try to replace it.

About the game

Your commander is waiting. So is everyone else's.

Gobgob's favourite bit: Your commander waits in the command zone, and if it gets knocked out, you can cast it again. It costs a little more each time, but it keeps coming back. Gobgob admires that kind of stubbornness.

Borrowing by post

Members anywhere in New Zealand can borrow by post. Postal swaps go out every Thursday. The cutoff is Wednesday 10pm for Thursday delivery.

Postage out is charged at our normal website shipping rates, and you pay to post games back to us.

Missing pieces and damage

Check the box when you borrow it. If a piece is missing, tell us at the counter so it isn't charged to you.

Pieces that go missing or get damaged while a game is with you can be charged up to the game's RRP, unless our staff waive it. Normal wear and tear is fine. The full details are in the library terms.
