Heart of Crown

Heart of Crown is a deck-building card game designed by ginkgo and published in English by Japanime Games. The emperor has died without naming a successor, and you're an influential figure in the empire trying to put your favourite princess on the throne. Everyone starts with the same small deck: spend your coins on stronger cards from the market, field your princess before a rival claims her, then gather 20 succession points to crown her.

Gobgob's games are well loved, so some might be missing a piece or two. Spot something missing? Tell us straight away at the counter or by message, so we can try to replace it.

About the game

The emperor left no heir. Gobgob has opinions.

Gobgob's favourite bit: Declaring a coronation. Everyone else gets one last turn to drag your points back below 20, so the whole table turns on you at once. Very royal. Very stressful.

Borrowing by post

Members anywhere in New Zealand can borrow by post. Postal swaps go out every Thursday. The cutoff is Wednesday 10pm for Thursday delivery.

Postage out is charged at our normal website shipping rates, and you pay to post games back to us.

Missing pieces and damage

Check the box when you borrow it. If a piece is missing, tell us at the counter so it isn't charged to you.

Pieces that go missing or get damaged while a game is with you can be charged up to the game's RRP, unless our staff waive it. Normal wear and tear is fine. The full details are in the library terms.
