H1 Keep on the Shadowfell is the first adventure for Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition, from Wizards of the Coast, released in 2008. Kobold raiders are menacing the village of Winterhaven, and the trail leads to a ruined keep where a priest of Orcus plans to reopen the Shadow Rift. It takes 1st-level characters to level 3 and kicks off a D&D 4e series that continues in H2 Thunderspire Labyrinth and H3 Pyramid of Shadows.
Gobgob's favourite bit: It arrived before the 4th Edition core rulebooks, with quick-start rules and five ready-to-play characters, so groups could try the new edition early. Gobgob does love a sneak peek.

Borrowing by post
Members anywhere in New Zealand can borrow by post. Postal swaps go out every Thursday. The cutoff is Wednesday 10pm for Thursday delivery.
Postage out is charged at our normal website shipping rates, and you pay to post games back to us.
Missing pieces and damage
Check the box when you borrow it. If a piece is missing, tell us at the counter so it isn't charged to you.
Pieces that go missing or get damaged while a game is with you can be charged up to the game's RRP, unless our staff waive it. Normal wear and tear is fine. The full details are in the library terms.
