Beetle Game
Beetle Game is the classic roll-and-build family game, known as Beetle Drive in the UK and Cootie in the US, and this copy is a vintage 1967 Merit edition. Take turns rolling the die to see which beetle part you can add, and race to be the first to finish a whole beetle. It's simple enough for little ones, and the die keeps it anyone's game.

About the game
Every beetle starts somewhere. Usually with a lucky roll.
Gobgob's favourite bit: Being one piece away from a finished beetle and waiting for the exact roll you need while everyone else catches up. Gobgob's beetle has been missing a leg for ages.

Borrowing by post
Members anywhere in New Zealand can borrow by post. Postal swaps go out every Thursday. The cutoff is Wednesday 10pm for Thursday delivery.
Postage out is charged at our normal website shipping rates, and you pay to post games back to us.
Missing pieces and damage
Check the box when you borrow it. If a piece is missing, tell us at the counter so it isn't charged to you.
Pieces that go missing or get damaged while a game is with you can be charged up to the game's RRP, unless our staff waive it. Normal wear and tear is fine. The full details are in the library terms.
