Granny Wars: A Game of Tit for Tat (Library)
Granny Wars: A Game of... $0.00
Your Granny's position as the town's top handicrafter is threatened by upstart contenders from a new retirement community. Your task is to try to help her, while distracting and sabotaging her competitors – but if you don't keep your loyalty hidden, the other players will definitely stitch you up! At the beginning of Granny Wars: A Game of Tit for Tat, you receive a secret loyalty card matching one of the Granny cards on the table, and you are dealt ten cards which range from -5 to +5 points. The deck also includes Gold cards, which grant a special Granny power (like "Nana Nap") in addition to points. Players take turns adding cards to the Grannies, and the "Tit for Tat" mechanism allows a player to "bounce" an equal and opposite card from one pile to another, e.g., playing a +3 on a -3 lets a player move the -3 to another pile of their choice. After everyone has exhausted their 10 cards, players reveal which Granny they supported and sum the points in her pile of cards. The game can be played by 2 players, with a small modification to the rules.
Glimstone Grab (Library)
Glimstone Grab (Library) $0.00
A cooperative game for 1-4 players. Much Middling is an average place, except for the special gems (glimstones) in its forest. Children love to play with these but unfortunately, a group of trolls has settled into a glade there. They love the glimstones too and have been snatching the children for lunch. A wizard recruits Esmeralda, from the Hoard game, as he knows of her reputation stealing treasure from a dragon and hopes to put her skills to use to benefit the community. The wizard and Esmeralda set off in opposite directions, collecting glimstones which can be used to ransom snatched children and buy time. When they meet again, if they have the right combination of glimstones, they can perform a spell to banish a troll. They must banish all the trolls to win, but if a player ends their turn and all children have been taken, the players lose.Players use movement cards to move the characters between the gems; it is possible to plan sequences of movements to get the characters to align again. Before each player's turn, an event card reveals if a child has been snatched or other forest inhabitants, some friend and some foe to the players, have been active that turn.
Flipology (Library)
Flipology (Library) $0.00
In Flipology, players try to score the most points over three rounds. At the start of the game, each player receives nine cards, then picks seven of them to arrange in a face-down row. On your turn, you must flip one of your seven cards (up or down), with some cards having effects that enable you to flip additional cards, including those owned by opponents. Cards depict animals in different types of environments, and they have different effects and point values depending on what's shown at round's end, such as the sloth which is worth positive points only if it's still face down. Aside from sloths and koalas, though, cards must end the game face up to contribute to a player's score. In the "Great Tree" variant for 2-4 players, five cards are dealt to each player and two turns are taken. Then a second set of five cards cards are dealt out which go above the first row and two more turns are taken, with the added wrinkle that players now control two rows and adjacency means up and down as well as side to side. Finally, a third set of cards is dealt out and players take a final two turns, then calculate their total score.
Flaming Pyramids (Library)
Flaming Pyramids (Library) $0.00
The residents of Huia Street are clearing their closets, looking for unwanted household items for the big community garage sale. A pile is building up on the empty section but there are troublemakers lurking, causing rather unneighborly collapses. And why does little Susie have a blowtorch? Geez, you just want to get rid of your junk! In Flaming Pyramids, players are building one pyramid together using square tiles, but each player is trying to be the first to get rid of their own tiles. There are 40 regular tiles with a unique combination of color, number, and material. Except toward the end of the game, players have a hand of five tiles from which to choose, but they are constrained by the building regulations and the luck of the draw. There are also four tiles that can cause fires and one extra-heavy "wild" tile: these can be harder to place without causing extensive damage the later they emerge. If your placed tile causes mayhem (a collapse, fire, or explosion), the damaged tiles go back in your supply. Flaming Pyramids can be played as a friendly, casual game, an easy starter or filler, or as no-holds-barred multi-round competition.

Drop It (Library)
Drop It (Library) $0.00

In more detail, each turn the active player drops one of their pieces into the slot of the game board. The player scores points for the highest level that the piece touches and for any special locations that it touches, but if the piece touches anything of the same shape or color, then you score nothing! What's more, certain pieces are forbidden at certain spots on the edge of the playing area. The Drop It rulebook includes variant rules for simpler play or more variety from game to game.

Discover the secrets of Hogwarts in this version of the classic Mystery game. Enjoy new game play features and a moving Hogwarts game board. Dark magic has been performed at Hogwarts. A fellow student has vanished from the famous School of Witchcraft and Wizardry--and it is up to you to solve the mysterious disappearance.Play as Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Luna or Neville and try to discover who did it, what spell or item they used, and where the student was attacked. Was it Draco Malfoy with a Sleeping Draught in the Owlery?Move around Hogwarts making suggestions--but watch out. Wheels on the board actually move to reveal secret passages, hidden staircases, and even the Dark Mark. Think you've gathered all the facts you need? Go to Dumbledore's office to make your final accusation to win the game. This version of the classic Clue game combines the standard clue idea of going from room to room making suggestions of who, what, and where. However, this version adds a few new ideas. The first is the ever changing board. On a players turn s/he roles three dice, two regular and a special die. The special die has the four houses of Hogwarts on it. This allows a player to change the layout of the board, by opening/closing doors, changing the secret passage way, reveling the dark mark (causing lose of house points), or getting help cards. The house points are a second change. In this version either a player can win, or all players can lose and the dark side wins, by getting all the players house points. House points are lost when the dark mark appears and a card is reveled from the dark deck. The players affected must either show a help card that protects them from the dark deck card, or lose the set number of house points. Dropping to zero house points causes a player to lose and out of the game. The other two card types are the third change in the game. There are help cards that consist of items, allies, and spells. These are used to combat the second deck, the Dark Deck. The dark deck cards are revealed when a dark mark appears either on the dice roll, or by moving the house wheels changing the door layouts. The dark mark card affect players in specific locations and those players must be able to show the indicated help cards or lose house points. All-in-all the idea is the same as traditional clue, but the extra things makes the game just different enough. People that like Clue and/or Harry Potter would enjoy this version.
Clue (Library)
Clue (Library) $0.00
The classic detective game! A game for those who enjoy reasoning and thinking things out. In Clue, players move from room to room in a mansion to solve the mystery of: who done it, with what, and where? Players are dealt character, weapon, and location cards after the top card from each card type is secretly placed in the confidential file in the middle of the board. Players must move to a room and then make a suggestion against a character saying they did it in that room with a specific weapon. The player to the left must show one of any cards mentioned if in that player's hand. Through deductive reasoning each player must figure out which character, weapon, and location are in the secret file. To do this, each player must uncover what cards are in other players hands by making more and more suggestions. Once a player knows what cards the other players are holding, they will know what cards are in the secret file, and then make an accusation. If correct, the player wins, but if incorrect, the player must return the cards to the file without revealing them and may no longer make suggestions or accusations.
