Look, it's D&D's baby photos!
The Making of Original Dungeons & Dragons 1970–1977 is a history book from Wizards of the Coast about how Dungeons & Dragons was born. It collects early drafts and documents from the years when Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson were creating the game, around its first release in 1974. It's for D&D fans and anyone curious about where tabletop RPGs came from.
Gobgob's favourite bit: Seeing D&D half-built, in drafts written before anyone knew how big it would get. Gobgob's own first drafts are mostly doodles.

Missing pieces and damage
Check the box when you borrow it. If a piece is missing, tell us at the counter so it isn't charged to you.
Pieces that go missing or get damaged while a game is with you can be charged up to the game's RRP, unless our staff waive it. Normal wear and tear is fine. The full details are in the library terms.
