Gobgob grabbed the magnifying glass. The whole city is a crime scene.

MicroMacro: Crime City is a co-op detective game by Johannes Sich, published by Edition Spielwiese, and the winner of the 2021 Spiel des Jahres. Spread out a giant black-and-white city map, pick one of 16 cases, and work together to answer the clue cards by searching the picture. Who did it, how and why? It is all hidden somewhere in the crowd. Cases range from easy one-star warm-ups to fiendish five-star puzzlers.

Gobgob's favourite bit: The whole city is drawn at many moments in time, so the same person pops up again and again. Follow the suspect back across the map and you can watch the crime unfold, step by sneaky step.
