H.P. Lovecraft's At the Mountains of Madness for Beginning Readers is a full-colour hardcover from Chaosium by R. J. Ivankovic (2024) that retells Lovecraft's 1936 tale of an ill-fated journey to Antarctica in rhyming verse. Ivankovic wrote it in anapestic tetrameter, the bouncy rhythm of The Night Before Christmas, and illustrated every page with whimsical, child-friendly art. Chaosium says it suits readers and collectors of all ages.

Borrowing by post
Members anywhere in New Zealand can borrow by post. Postal swaps go out every Thursday. The cutoff is Wednesday 10pm for Thursday delivery.
Postage out is charged at our normal website shipping rates, and you pay to post games back to us.
Missing pieces and damage
Check the box when you borrow it. If a piece is missing, tell us at the counter so it isn't charged to you.
Pieces that go missing or get damaged while a game is with you can be charged up to the game's RRP, unless our staff waive it. Normal wear and tear is fine. The full details are in the library terms.
