Catan Histories: Rise of the Inkas

Catan Histories: Rise of the Inkas is a strategy board game from Catan Studio, designed by Klaus Teuber and Benjamin Teuber. It retells the rise and fall of the Inca Empire in South America, with classic Catan trading and building at its heart. The twist is that nature reclaims old settlements, opening up prime spots for other players, and new goods like fish, cocoa and feathers give you more to barter with.

Gobgob's games are well loved, so some might be missing a piece or two. Spot something missing? Tell us straight away at the counter or by message, so we can try to replace it.

About the game

Build an empire. Then watch nature take it back.

Gobgob's favourite bit: When an old settlement gets overgrown, the prime spot your rival sat on for ages is suddenly up for grabs. Just remember yours aren't safe either.

Borrowing by post

Members anywhere in New Zealand can borrow by post. Postal swaps go out every Thursday. The cutoff is Wednesday 10pm for Thursday delivery.

Postage out is charged at our normal website shipping rates, and you pay to post games back to us.

Missing pieces and damage

Check the box when you borrow it. If a piece is missing, tell us at the counter so it isn't charged to you.

Pieces that go missing or get damaged while a game is with you can be charged up to the game's RRP, unless our staff waive it. Normal wear and tear is fine. The full details are in the library terms.
