Gobgob recommends this for date night. Loser gathers the berries.

Everdell Duo is a two-player take on the woodland city-building board game Everdell, from Starling Games and designers James A. Wilson and Clarissa A. Wilson. Place workers to gather twigs, resin, pebbles and berries, then spend them to play critter and construction cards into your own little city. Compete for the most points, or team up and play co-operatively through the chapters, all across four seasons.

Gobgob's favourite bit: The sun and moon tokens. You can only play meadow cards that are touching them, and every turn you move them along. Timing is everything, and Gobgob always seems to be one space short.
