Onitama is a quick two-player abstract strategy game by Shimpei Sato, published in English by Arcane Wonders. Each player has a Master and four Students on a small 5x5 board. Instead of fixed moves like chess, you move using martial-arts move cards, and only five cards are in play each game. Win by capturing your opponent's Master, or by walking your own Master onto their Temple Arch. Easy to learn in minutes, and great for a quick duel.

Gobgob's favourite bit: The move cards. When you use one, it passes over to your opponent, so every move you make hands them a new trick. Think twice before you use the good one.
