Gobgob put on a bow tie. Jay Gatsby still hasn't called.
Gatsby is a stylish two-player board game from Catch Up Games, designed by Bruno Cathala and Ludovic Maublanc. It's Long Island in the 1920s, and you're both chasing the favour of the mysterious Jay Gatsby. On your turn you take an action and place influence tokens at the cabaret, the finance centre or the racetrack to win over high-society characters. Collect three characters of the same colour, or one of each of the five colours, to win.
Gobgob's favourite bit: Every spot plays differently. At the cabaret your tokens need to form lines or cover stars, at the finance centre you climb a track, and at the racetrack you want the most tokens on the finished race lines. Gobgob has a favourite, and it changes every game.
