Forgenesis is a pocket-sized two-player strategy game from ThunderGryph Games, designed by Ignazio Panades. Each player summons their forged creatures onto a small grid board, then moves them and uses their special abilities to be the first to reach the opposite corner. Simple rules, quick games and plenty of clever tactics. A great little abstract game to take anywhere.

Gobgob's favourite bit: Every creature moves and acts in its own way, so each turn is a mini puzzle about which one to summon and where. Easy to learn, hard to master. Gobgob is still at the "easy to learn" bit.
